Every year it's always awesome to get together with my dad's side of the family, but I think this year was one of the best. I don't think I've laughed so hard or long in my life. I wish we could have spent more time with the Bishop clan. The most hilarious part though was watching the home videos. Those killed me. I think the funniest part of watching those was our comments about the videos. There was this one part where everyone was there (and even a couple people we didn't know) and Shawn, Aaron, and I were just little little little babies and I was completely MIA. All the adults were playing vollyball except Barb and my second cousin. Barb was holding Aaron. Shawn was in a baby-backpack on Janie's back. I was nowhere in sight. It's a mystery that will never be solved (along with why in the world Nathan was running around in his underwear and NO ONE said anything!) Also, the beached whale was hilarious. I can't wait until the next generation comes along!

Reflecting
Tonight I finished early with homework and so I decided to upload pictures onto facebook. As I was doing this I noticed that it took longer than I wanted to wait for the pictures to load, so I decided I'd catch up on people's blogs. It was nice to delve into someone else's life for the few minutes that I was waiting. It made me think about how life was going for me and where I want to end up. We'll see where this takes me. However, for now, it needs to take me up to bed so I can think clearly tomorrow for the "in-class" essay.

Blech
This week is finals week. I have my first two finals tomorrow. It won't be too too bad because I have Photography and Pre-Calc. Pre-Calc is a little worry-some because I don't remember the exact steps for a couple of different things, but I'm hoping it will go okay. Photography is a no brainer. The final is all stuff that we had to use pretty much every day in order to do anything in the class. Wednesday is supposed to be English, but my teacher said that she hadn't decided what would count as our final. We're working on Huck Finn and writing an "in class" essay (it's really not in class, we just have to type it during class) and a test over the book. Thursday will be Choir and French. The final in choir is our audition for next year and when she decides which class to put us in. French. I'm not worried about French at all because I have more than 100% in that class, and I can remember basically everything that we've done (if I see it, which won't be a problem since it's a written test). Finally, Friday, I am not excited about Friday. On Friday I have U.S. History and Chemistry. Fun. U.S. History isn't really all that hard because it's all terms and matching definitions, but I never remember what people do. Chemistry is what scares me the most because I don't really know how much I've learned from my teacher. Just about everything that has gotten me a good grade in that class has been from other kids who could understand the book better than me. Thankfully we're allowed to put some information on a piece of paper and use it on the test. The thing about that though is that it makes you question yourself and look up everything, so I'm only putting stuff that I for sure don't know and labeling it very very clearly so I'm not looking around for it among a mess of other info. I'm glad, though, because I'm doing so much better in my classes than I did last semester (last year). We'll see how this one wraps up. Now, I'm off to study for Pre-Calc!
